The user requirements for accuracy improvement are a clear signal to suppliers of encoder technology: The users are expecting a significant performance jump in accuracy. Within the next five years, the accuracy requirements will increase by an order of magnitude.
The future will show, if magnetic measurement will be able to improve to provide the next level of accuracy.
